Happy Wednesday! I felt my back “tweak” a little bit today while doing curls. That sucks when that happens. I feel it now, just sitting here. [Listening to: Holiday / Boulevard of Broken Dreams – Green Day – American Idiot (8:13)]
I weighed 190.2 this morning. That’s 12.2 pounds in two weeks. I’m so excited. Can ya tell?
And I’ve lost 10.4 pounds. I’m thrilled. I’m a bit apprehensive about it though, as it’s a bit TOO MUCH, TOO FAST. However, my summer of marathon training ahead of me should keep it off and keep it COMING OFF! Toot toot! Naaah. I’m just excited to see if I can get to a lower […]
Well, my efforts are paying off. The key will be to see if I can get to a lower weight than last year. I’m thinking I can because of the longer duration of training: 27 weeks vs. 18 weeks, plus seeing that we’ll be doing biking once or twice a week, the weight might work […]
This might seem crazy, but I’ve lost 6.8 pounds in exactly one week. Started dieting last week for the most part, and this week, started the South Beach Diet. We’ll see how it goes. I’d rather just exercise a lot and have the option of sucking down a bag of gummi lips if I wanted […]

Can you believe it? We ran 4.28 miles this morning on a new trail we found that is near our house. We then rode our bikes at Stony Creek’s mountain bike trails for 1.05 miles this afternoon in 84-86 degree weather. We feel like machines… we’re obese, and we have to shed this shit!!!
Okay, so I’ve had a bad Winter. I didn’t think it’d be so bad, but this is looking to be our most active Spring/Summer YET in terms of training. I can’t wait. I am gearing my body up for 27 weeks of 6-days-a-week training starting on May 3 and ending on October 31. We’re hoping […]
Michelle and I ran at Stony Creek last night. 4 miles. First time in a long time. Felt rough at first, but after warming up, I was smoove. I forgot about the whole warming up thing. Maybe in training this year, I SHOULD actually warm up like the pros say you should.
