October Fun at Stony

October 31st, 2005

Michelle and I decided that we HAD to take Benjamin to Stony Creek for an enjoyable four mile walk, soaking up the sun, the clouds, the leaves, and the overall atmosphere!

Click photo below for some amazing pictures (at least I think so).

Trip to the mall

October 30th, 2005

Michelle and I were about to leave her parents’ house when Kim came to pick up Louie. After visiting for a few more, we decided to leave the boys (Ben and Louie) and go to the mall to get some makeup for Kim’s costume party the following night. I also had to pick up some computer parts at Micro Center. Sounded like fun. Well, we stopped at Big Shots (the old Shhh…Booms) to see if Julie was working. Well, she was, and a few beers later, we decided to finally hit road. Well, we stopped at one more bar and this time, we were looking for Louise. We didn’t find her, but we found another beer and some greasy bar food. We FINALLY made it to Marshall Field’s, where Kim picked up some lipstick and eyeliner.

Wireless iPod Speaker System

October 27th, 2005

It’s been a while since I blogged about something that caught my eye. I was looking at an issue of Wired Magazine that highlights the “best” gear of certain categories. It’s kind of like a Consumer Reports issue for people who actually buy cool stuff, and not can openers.

Anyway, Oregon Scientific, normally known for making wireless weather stations, alarm clocks, and other “gadgets” you’d typically see at Sharper Image, has come up with a pretty cool audio solution for using your iPod at home.

Testing new blogging browser, Flock

October 26th, 2005

I was turned onto this browser yesterday. I saw it at www.wordpress.com as well as being told about it from a few friends. Kind of neat; built off of Firefox. I’m sure it’ll become popular for those who don’t want to add 3rd party (even though this is one) blogging tools
like w.Bloggar.
